Smooth South African Rooibos with a zesty orange kick
Brazilian Mate infused with sweet orange.
A hint of liquorice gives a fresh, aniseed tang to this stimulating blend.
Perfect pick-me-up for those wild nights at the Rio carnival. Or a Saturday night in Cornwall of course!
Try chilling, then serving in a jug of crushed ice with orange segments for a fantastic summer drink.
Brewing the best cup. Two teaspoons per cup. Boiling water, then brew your infusion, 5 + mins.
Yerba Mate is an herbal tea from South America, it is steamed rather than being aged or smoked and has an incredibly fresh flavor that is both earthy and grassy. A species of holly, the leaves and twigs of the South American Yerba Mate plant have long been enjoyed as an healthy, stimulating drink. Yerba Maté is also high in Vitamin C and a potent antioxidant, it gives the same amount of energy as a cup of coffee, without the jittery feeling that some people get from caffeine, and the stimulating effect lasts longer than that of coffee. Mate is loaded with natural minerals and does indeed have a stimulating effect that can be quite potent!
Yerba Mate, liquorice roots, orange peels & blossoms, natural flavourings
Very enjoyable daytime drink, I have it as a coffee alternative as it has a more complex flavor than some teas with a bit of a caffeine kick.
