Tinner's Tea

  • BRAWNY STRENGTH

Tough enough for Tin Miners, smooth enough to serve up with your cream tea. A proper, gutsy cuppa.  Loose leaf breakfast tea.

    BREW

Brewing the best cup. One teaspoon per cup. Freshly boiling water, brew your tea for 4 minutes, a good rule of thumb is 3-5 minutes for most black teas (depending on your preference for strength) and enjoy with or without milk

    GOOD FOR

    Loose leaf black tea drinking

  • Being based in Cornwall we thought it right and proper to create some Cornish tea blends. The others are Cornish Breakfast and Cornish Afternoon Tea

  • Indian, Ceylon & Kenyan Black Tea

Good and Strong

This a great tasting and very strong tea. A slightly rounded teaspoon per mug, brewed for 3 to 4 minutes, makes a wonderful cuppa and you can get literally millions of mugs from a 500g bag (well OK, not literally millions, but many many mugs - this tea is very good value for money indeed).

A proper brew!

This is what I call a proper brew! Nice and strong exactly what it says on the packet. Top notch tea!

Beats anything from the supermarket

Stonking good brew. A rare find and revelation. Found this little gem on a local's recommendation during a day trip and have since ordered a large pouch top up. Best cuppa in the morning or after a day out by far, but must try some of the other offerings from this great little shop.

Nice tea but not strong enough

I bought Tinners tea as it was sold as being on the stronger side but, as nice as it is it seemed average strength to me, so I'm looking for something stronger.

Chance purchase - now buying more!

I like a strong cuppa, so when looking for a loose leaf, I picked this up on a day trip to Truro. Thank Zeus you sell online, as I've just run out, today, so am stocking up!! So good, I'm sticking with this and the Cornish Breakfast.
