A wonderfully intense Indian tea with a robust character typical of the best Assams. A great breakfast tea which stands up well to a touch of milk.

    GOOD FOR

Benefits of loose leaf black leaf tea drinking

  • The Assam tea bush grows in a lowland region, in the valley of the Brahmaputra River; an area of clay soil rich in the nutrients of the floodplain. Along both sides of this river lie the rolling plains of the world's largest tea growing area, along with the highest yield per acre.

The climate varies between a cool, arid winter and a hot, humid rainy season - conditions ideal for growing tea. This tropical climate contributes to Assam's unique malty taste, a feature for which this tea is well known.

Wow

Ok here goes; Your Household tea matches perfectly my requirements for the first 2 cups of the day. Delighted with the Ceylon BOP, Sailor of Hamburg, Darjeeling, Skinny Dragon, Orange blossom. In fact I haven't yet received any tea that I didn't like! Further orders shall follow when I'm next back in the UK.
