Orange blossom Oolong tea. Smells heavenly, amazing citrus aroma with a slight chestnut background. This is a, wonderful large leaf with tip picked in July, Formosa Oolong from Taiwan layered with orange blossoms, natural oils and peel.
Brewing the best cup. One teaspoon per cup. Boiling water is too fierce for this Oolong tea. So, for just-off the boil water, simply boil the kettle, let it sit for two to three minutes, then brew your tea, 3+ mins, a little honey or sugar, no milk but perhaps a slice of orange. If you give it a minute to cool after steeping before drinking the flavours should really come through. The leaves may also be re-infused several times.
Oolong Tea, Orange Blossom, Natural Flavours
I discovered this tea at the Rectory Tearooms in Morwenstow and was immediately smitten. The flavour and aroma are stunning and yet completely natural. The oolong base is delicious. Try it - you won’t be disappointed. It’s my new Number 1 brew!
