Rich, red, tangy pomegranate melds beautifully with sweet, juicy blueberry. Blueberry grenadine! Brew it up, chill it down and have a pitcher of this ready and waiting in the fridge for when the sun comes out. Or jazz it up a notch and try out Blueberry Blush below
Blueberry Blush Recipe
4 tbsp Blue Pomegranate, 2 tbsp sugar, honey, or agave sweetener, 100ml Grenadine, 1 750-ml bottle of something chilled & sparkling pref Prosecco.
Make infusion concentrate: 4 tbsp Blue Pomegranate, steeped in 150ml boiling water for 10+ minutes. Strain out and sweeten with sugar, honey, or agave. Chill infusion concentrate in refrigerator. Combine chilled infusion concentrate with the grenadine. Divide infusion/grenadine mix amongst 8 champagne flutes. Top off the flutes with chilled sparkling bottle of choice.
Brewing the best cup. One teaspoon per cup. Boiling water, then brew your infusion, 5+ mins, a little honey or sugar, without milk.
Real fruits, lots of flavour and caffeine free!
To make a litre of fruity iced tea, take six generous teaspoons of fruit infusion, add a litre of boiling water. Sweeten with honey or sugar if you fancy. Leave to cool and strain (and then chill in the fridge if you like). Serve over ice, adding slices of orange or lemon with a sprig of mint. Or try making a more concentrated infusion and top up with lemonade, sparkling water or even perry for extra fizz. If you don't drink it all - freeze in an ice cube tray to enjoy later or frozen on a stick, like a lolly.
