Perfect autumnal tea! Intense flavours of candied, sweet, baked apples with a hint of creamy vanilla. A cosy, comfort blanket of sweet, appley loveliness - like the best hug.
Brewing the best cup. One teaspoon per cup. Boiling water, then brew your tea, 3+ mins, a little extra honey or sugar, with or without milk.
Black tea, apple pieces, apple slices, flavouring, freeze-dried apple pieces, wild strawberry leaves
Smells and tastes great. Often a lot of these tea infusions smell amazing but taste insipid. This is a definite exception. Loved it; you can really taste the apple and vanilla. Perfect on a cold autumnal day.
This is a really nice flavoured tea, with a rich, rounded, aromatic appley taste and a hint of vanilla behind it. Great for when you've been out on the hills or the cliffs as a first cuppa when you come back, light the fire and have a good long sit-down! Works well in the morning too. Also works well if you happen to like having a cuppa while lolling in the bath. And here's a hint: since flavoured teas can leave a flavour-trace in the pot afterwards, if you also like Tugboat's vanilla tea, try that on your next round of tea after this apple tea. Worth a try, to see whether you like it.
