Smooth vanilla rooibos with little pieces of cinnamon and kibbled ginger
Super rich and warming. Smooth vanilla rooibos with little pieces of cinnamon and kibbled ginger. Aromatic, delicious, comfort in a cup and a great alternative to a more fruity winter tea, as well as being caffeine free and high in antioxidants.
Brewing the best cup. One teaspoon per cup. Boiling water, then brew your tea, 4+ mins, a little honey or sugar, with milk. Try this out as a simple, one mug, gingerbread latte. Brew a tsp with half a mug of water and top up with whisked-up milk ( coconut milk adds an extra layer of taste ) and sprinkled with cinnamon or ginger. Yummy.
3 tsp Gingerbread Chai
Brew Gingerbread Chai in boiling water for at least 5 minutes. You can do this on the hob, in a teapot or just in a mug. However you brew the tea, you will need to strain it into a couple of mugs ( ideally something suitably Christmassy ) when ready to serve. Add sugar or honey to the warmed milk and whisk quickly until it's all nice and frothy, then pour onto your strained chai and sprinkle with cinnamon. Gingernuts on the side are optional but highly recommended. Sit back and enjoy!
